The challenge over on the TGF Farm Fresh Challenge blog is to create a Halloween card and since I have the Hallo Witch digital image I thought I would give it a try. I kept it very simple as I found this patterned paper that my wonderful friend Lisa had given to me some time ago from My Mind's Eye, and you'll see why I did not really add anything else other than the Witch!
Paper: cardstock (PTI); Neenah; My Mind's Eye
Ink: Copic Markers; Memento Tuxedo Black
Stamps: TGF (digital); Hero Arts (sentiment)
Other: Glossy Accents; Glitter; Dimensional squares
I matted the patterned paper on black cardstock and adhered that with dimensional squares to the purple note card. I also popped up the sentiment and the witch image. I pieced the pumpkin which I had added glossy accents and some glitter to for a bit of sparkle to match the sparkle in the patterned paper. It is hard to capture on camera, but that owl is all glittery in real life.
I love that huge owl looking at the witch flying away in fear!
Thank you for taking a peek! Wishing you a wonderful Monday!

Happy Haunting
I am not really into Halloween, BUT, there are some cute stamps out there and one of them is this set by Lawn Fawn called Happy Haunting. So I thought I would use it and make a very simple card to enter into the Lawnscaping embossing challenge.
Paper: cardstock (PTI); Neenah
Ink: Memento; Copics
Stamps: Lawn Fawn (Happy Haunting)
Other: CB Embossing Folder - Branches; Glossy Accent
I like how that embossing folder works on black cardstock. I also added some glossy accents to the "yellow lit areas" on the card. I do feel that something is missing, not sure what though.
I just had a great 10 mile run in temperatures of upper 70's, oh that felt so good after being over 100F for so long!
Just a short post today! I may be back later. Have a great day!

Halloween Goodies!
Yesterday I was busy finalising all the Halloween goodies that my daughter will take to her class this morning as they are celebrating with a Halloween Parade today.
Here are some photos of what I created, my own take on Treat bags and Mummy Suckers.
The actual plastic bags are from Hobby Lobby, I loved the pictures on them. The tags are made with Papertrey Ink products. The Mummy Suckers are made with the double thick Oreo Cookies and White Nestle Chocolate bits (I know, too much sugar! I'll pay for it later and so will a whole lot of other Moms!).
Wishing you all a wonderful day and a great start to the weekend festivities!

Work in Progress!!!
No card to show you yet today, although I hope to have a bit of time later to make more cards for Vera's Caring Hearts Card Drive. Yesterday I was busy putting together 27 Halloween Treat bags for my daughters Pre-K class for Friday! My Mom, who should be severely jet lagged, stepped in to help count out the candy that went into each bag! I am a bit obsessive about making sure each child has the same amount of candy!
All the items I used to make the bag toppers are from PapertreyInk. I just love their Tiny Treats: Halloween stamp set, perfect for something like this. The ink I used was Peeled Paint, Spiced Marmalade and Black Soot from Ranger, and Smokey Plum from CTMH.
Here are just a few photos of the production line!!!

I still have to assemble the bags, right now I am trying to decide between buying more sweeties to fill the bags because they look rather empty, or to cut the bags a little shorter!
Thanks for looking. Hope to be back later with a card.
