The Penny Black Saturday Challenge this week is to make something for the guys in our loves. Great timing as I had just finished making my Father's Day card for my FIL. Now, let's just hope he does not look at my blog! Cindy, I'm counting on you to not let Pops see this before he receives his card which I am sending today.
Paper: Cardstock (PTI); Neenah
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Copic Markers
Stamps: Penny Black "Hello Friend" (30-069); Hero Arts (CL335)
Other: Corner Chomper; Glossy Accents
Don't you just love that dog driving the car, those ears just flapping away behind him! I decided to trade the gift box that was in the trunk with some tools that I got from a Hero Arts stamp set. I added some glossy accents here and there to the tools. This dog is driving so fast that the tools are just flying out the back of the car.
I asked my husband if his Dad had any fancy coloured car that he could remember growing up and he said "forest green". This is the closes to forest green I could get. I really hope he likes it, I laughed so much when I finished making this card, it was such fun!
Thank you for taking a peek!
