Yes, this is my second post today, I had an opportunity to quickly make this card and thought I would post it too. I really like this "Large Blossom" cling stamp by Hero Arts but I have to say that I struggle with how to use it in a different manner because it is sort of self-framed, so in my opinion, basically you need to change the colour ink you use and paper and sentiment. But of course, I will be proved wrong!
Here is my best shot at trying to use it slightly differently:
Paper: Hero Arts notecard; Kraft (PTI); Neenah; Music sheet (Jacqueline)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Punch Chalk Ink (Hero Arts); Antique Linen DI
Stamps: Hero Arts (CG271; CL488)
After stamping the first image with Punch chalk ink I matted it on some kraft cardstock. I then stamped a portion of it on another piece of Neenah cardstock and cut out just the one flower at the top. I inked that flower with some Antique Linen distress ink and partly adhered it back onto the original image, making the three top petals pop up with some dimensional squares.
I used a torn strip of a beautiful music sheet that my friend Jacqueline had sent me some time ago, (thank you so much Jacqueline, I am thrilled that I eventually found a place for it), and I adhered a strip of punch notecard on top of that with a sentiment strip in kraft.
I liked how this turned out, I hope you do to!

I just saw this on the Flickr group and popped over here to tell you again how much I love your card! Didn't know the large bloom was lifted off the page some - that is amazing. Again I love the kraft and red and the music background. Perfect!
It's great how you have litfted that top part of the flower. It looks so cool IRL! Love these colors and I also love that you didn't color in the flowerson this stamp as I see most people do. It stands on it's own quite nicely :)
Wow, this is amazing, Brenda! I love the one sponged flower and the torn music at the bottom. Fabulous design!
this is gorgeous, Brenda! love it!
You've created a dramatic work of art. LOVE THIS!
Great card and love the mix of bordeaux and kraft together! Without coloring the flower, makes the card special and love the added touch of the musical torn sheets as well, Brenda!
I do like how it turned out Brenda. I like the way you coloured and popped that one flower.
I love how this turned out, Brenda! The color scheme is gorgeous & really showcases this cling stamp.
this is so pretty! I love the addition of the music strip on the bottom and the lightly distressed popped flower looks so elegant.
This turned out gorgeously! I didn't even remember I sent you that music paper - glad I did!
Hope you have a lovely weekend and thanks for the support you send me on my blog! Hugs!
