And you still have 30 minutes to play (or less) if you want, go HERE for the details!
Sharon is the hostess of this challenge today, (also a Hero Arts hostess), and she set a fabulous option - create something with a WINDOW. I know that generally speaking this is a cut out window, but as a reflection of my current mood, (because I am really, really missing my husband), I decided to do my own version of a window, let me show you what I mean....
Paper: Neenah Solar White; Notecard (Hobby Lobby); Making Memories (patterned paper)
Ink: Tea Dye & Walnut Stain DI; Soft Leaf (HA Shadow Ink); Poppy (HA Chalk Ink)
Stamps: Hero Arts
Other: EK Success tab punch; Clea ep
I stamped the top of the white notecard with the Envelope background stamp using Tea Dye DI. In the centre at the top I stamped the chandelier with Walnut Stain and clear embossed it.
To create the curtains I first stamped the Dots & Flowers background stamp using Poppy chalk ink on white paper. Then I stamped those scalloped borders using Soft Leaf ink and cut them out. I measured where the centre of the background piece was and glued the two scallops, then cut around them so that I had two seperate curtains. I inked the edges with Tea Dye DI and used dimensional strips to pop the two curtains up.
The chair was stamped on patterned paper, cut out and adhered to the centre of the room. And that is invisible me sitting in that chair, counting the days for hubby to come home! And that also signifies the moment for me to snap out of this mood and now revert to making bright happy cards!
Thank you for looking!
