Valentines Continued...

I have a few more Valentines to make for my husband's company who is including them in parcels to relatives of employees who are in the armed forces.  Here is another pair I made using my new Unity stamps.

Paper: PTI Rustic White Cardstock, Patterned Paper (Making Memories)
Ink: Memento Chocolate Brown, Versafine Onyx Black, Tombow Markers, Vintage Photo Distress Ink
Stamps: "Sending My Love" by Unity
Other: Glossy Accents, Dimensional adhesive, PTI Edgers #1 Die

I first used the die to cut the edge of the card and the edge of my patterned paper.  I really like the shape of that die cut, so soft, just nice to be able to have something other than a straight edge. I then assembled the patterned paper onto the card base. As for that patterned paper, oh boy, this particular range, "Paper Reverie, Brun Antique" is so very beautiful.  As I mentioned on a previous post, it's really tough for me to cut into it, and again, you can see for yourself, I could only bring myself to cut out some small strips!

I stamped that very cute mailbox on more rustic cardstock, cut it out, and inked the edge with distress ink so that it can stand out on the card base.  I added the little envelope with dimensional dots and added some glossy accents to the little heart.  The sentiment is also part of this set.  You should take a look at this set HERE, it's too adorable and has 4 sentiments in total which I think are very useful.  Just a really lovely set.

Well, I hope you like my card as much as I do.  I have a few more to make, different designs, which I still have to think of.  Have a wonderful day!  The weekend is upon us!  My Marathon is 2 days away and I am just getting over some respiratory bug of some sort, plus there is a 40% chance of rain and thunderstorms on race day!  So, it's going to be a VERY INTERESTING day!

Brenda, just popping by to wish you all the best this weekend with your run. You are very courageous.
I have been looking out for your card and hoped it would have arrived today... perhaps this weekend!
Good luck!

Brenda, I love all your Valentines! What a sweet little mailbox and letter flying toward it!

Good luck in the marathon...I hope you feel better, too. My brother did the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, DC a few years ago and it was such an exciting event to watch! I was there cheering him on...a day I'll never forget. I'll be thinking of you, too! Good luck!
