Freshly Made Sketches # 237

A blog friend reminded me after my post yesterday that participating in challenges in one way of making something for a purpose.  So I spent this morning reviewing all the challenge blogs I follow and semi-prioritising those I want to continue playing in and when I want to post those cards on my blog.

It has sort of rejuvenated me, I don't feel like I am operating in this big vacuum where the only person present is me!  Don't feel sorry for me, I think I have done enough of that since we moved to a new part of the country!  Change is not always easy, but we hope to start building our home this September so in 10-12 months after that we should be happier!

Anyway, back to today and this minute, the one minute that I can influence right now, so I will share the card I made for the current challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches.  Here is the sketch they provided:

And here is my interpretation in which I did take a bit of liberty.  It's always confusing to me how much you can stretch a sketch!!!

I used designer papers from Lily Bee Design and a die from Papertrey Ink.  I just loved the colours.

Yeah!!  It's weekend!  Have a great one!

I love all different interpretations of a sketch! Very pretty DSP and the sentiment is perfect tucked between the panels! Glad you joined us at FMS!

Cool take! I am with you, most of the times I follow a sketch quite closely. Yes Hero Arts now hosts a few challenges a year only, but those die hard Hero Arts fans such as myself, a2z and A Blog Named Hero are good options to play along. Also the Hero Arts flickr group scramble challenge are still running. Would love to have you join in.
