You Are Amazing

A friend is celebrating her birthday tomorrow and I wanted to make her a card, she is a very special lady I have met here in our suburb.   I hope she likes it, I definitely enjoyed making it.

Paper: cardstock (PTI); patterned paper (from a SSS card kit)
Stamps; Hero Arts; PTI; Dark Room Door;
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black; Latte ink from HA; Distress Inks
Other: PTI bracket die; Star Dust  Stickles; Corner Chomper

I stamped a piece of red cardstock with the Old Letter Writing stamp from Hero Arts and adhered that strip to the bottom of the card.  I then layered a die cut piece of patterned paper over and a thin strip of Kraft cardstock.

The flower was stamped onto a separate piece of white cardstock using distress inks and then adhered to the card, with the actual flower being popped up with double sided foam adhesive.

I don't think I have made a girly card in a while (adult girly that is).

It was unusually hot here today and we had to do our long run in the afternoon, not fun!

Hoping you are enjoying a fabulous day!
