I'm back with two tiles for this week's challenge. You can see the details of the challenge HERE on Adele Bruno's lovely blog. Browse around whilst you are there, she is a talented lady with wonderful stories often attached to most of her Zentangle pieces.
The tangles to be used this week were:
Mooka
Msst
Meer and
Mak-Rah-Mee
I immediately felt that somehow I have to get Mooka to come out of Mak-Rah-Mee, not sure how, but here are my two very feeble attempts!
I love the tangles, but I struggled with the string that was provided this week. I really, really did not want to use it. But, I tried to use "most" of it for my first tile, but it did not make me entirely happy:
I decided to do a second tile, I did not use Msst in this one, but I am still not 100% happy. I was also trying to practice making Meer go around a corner, (this was a question I had put out to the CZT's and a really talented artist responded by putting a whole blog post together for us, I was really touched, you can see it HERE, her name is Margaret Bremner). Here is my second tile:
The key is, I tried and will continue trying and playing.
Off to take something for this dreaded throat, I swear there are golf balls stuck in there! Have a great day!
