Tangled Butterfly

We are spending the long school holiday at the beach so I don't have my stamping tools with me, but Zentangle is so portable, so that's what's going to be on show for the next few entries.

Here is a Butterfly that I traced through a stencil and then tangled.  I've left it black and white, only because I would not know which colours to choose as I always tend to gravitate towards the blues and greens.  But Black and White is good.

It's another beautiful day here, the sea breeze is coming through the large open glass doors, the view is amazing, my gorgeous daughter is sitting next to me tangling and drawing, the only thing missing is hubby, but he'll be back tomorrow night!

My 20 year old nephew posted this on his FB page today: "we all have the same 24 hours, it's what you decide to do with them that sets you apart".  Coming from a 20 year old I found it very touching and impactful.  Have the most wonderful day.

Zentangling (is that a word?) by the beach with your daughter sounds like the perfect day to me, Brenda! I love your butterfly - and since you actually used a stencil for the design, you should enter it in Virginia's stencil challenge.
