Just got back from the beach where we spent the weekend and decided to try and make a card for the current CAS(e) This Sketch Challenge. I did change the orientation and went for a Christmas theme, my first in preparation for December!
Paper: cardstock (PTI)
Ink: various distress inks; Versafine Onyx Black
Stamps: Hero Arts (Winter Trees; sentiment HA CL343)
After stamping the image I cut it up into 3 equal parts and matted them on navy blue cardstock. While I was in the mood of changing things up I also decided to go for a non-traditional way of stamping the sentiment.
I thought the distress ink looked a little blotchy, but I'll put it down to the winter storm that is raging in that scene!
Hoping you are enjoying the end of your weekend.
