CAS(E) this Sketch #45

I decided to have a quick go at this week's sketch which you can find at CAS(E) this Sketch, it's a really nice one.

I chose a stamp from one of my Unity sets and also some florals from WPlus9's "Fresh Cut Florals".

I had stamped a whole lot of the floral images from the set the other day in preparation for playing with them and reconstructing something to put on a card, and I failed dismally!  I've realised that I am just not good at these types of stamp sets where you have to build up images.  I have an Ikat set from PTI and I just cannot make it work.  Of course I could sit down and simply copy someone's design, but that's not me.  I have to try it on my own, and unfortunately it's not working.

But, I also could not throw those little florals away, so here they are, on this very plain and simple card!

End of the 3rd school term is 4 days away, hubby will be coming home at the end of the week, the weather looks good, so maybe we get to go and spend some time paddling and relaxing at the waters edge!

Have a fabulous day!

You are so good at using up all your little scraps and bits :) Love your pretty, simple card and it goes wonderfully with the sketch.
I love the floral set, but know what you mean about the building sets. Sometimes I am not so good with them either- that ikat set is a difficult one. I have trouble with it to, but nothing wrong with a little CASEing, right? XXX

Those cute flowers really pop, Brenda. i also have a hard time with the layering sets. Hope you can get out and enjoy the nice weather with the family.
