So Special

I've tried to venture into my craft room here and there to play but to be honest, I am not coming up with anything too exciting!  In fact, I think I have become a rather boring card maker!  I need to fix that.  Perhaps once life is sort of back to "normal" here which will be in the second week of January, perhaps then I can get my thinking hat on and also be a bit more organised.  In the meantime, this is what you will have to put up with today:

I'm still a bit hooked on Grey and Pink, and I have just received the Hero Arts "Soft Granite" shadow ink which I am loving.  Such a beautiful smooth ink.  The butterfly is from PTI and the sentiment is from Hero Arts.

A short while ago I was complaining about the constant rain...well, now it's the opposite, it's constant heat!  Today the temperatures are predicted to be around 95F!  Which is ok if you have air conditioning, which we don't, it's not a standard thing here in South Africa.  On the other hand, we get to swim a lot which is wonderful!  We've also recently purchased some "toys" to take to the dam, here is my gorgeous daughter on Daddy's stand up paddle board:

See you again soon I hope!

I think this is simply delightful Brenda... Love the photo of your girl on her Dad's board. Lucky you have somewhere to cool off. Enjoy the summer... plenty of time for creating later in the year!

This is darling Brenda, you're being much too hard on yourself! 95 and no air conditioning...OH MY I don't know if I could handle that! I would be SO cranky LOL! Sweet, sweet photo of your little girl ;)

I think your card is pretty and not boring at all, Brenda! I have been doing some decorative painting lately and hope to find some time to make cards in the next week or so. Natasha looks like such a big girl on that paddle board! Happy new year to you & your family!

What a cutie playing with Dad's fun stuff - love it. What a beautiful place, too. And this card is not at all dull, but really cute and feminine. Sometimes simple is best. Love it, Brenda.
