Pom Pom

That's the name of this sweet flower from Hero Arts.

I forced myself to sit down in my disorganised craft room this morning to make a card, hopefully if I continue to do that the inspiration will return.

So, a quickie as I need to leave in 15 minutes to fetch Natasha from school.  A bit of Copic colouring, a little paper piecing of the centre of the flower and the leaves, some Washi tape and that was it.

We've had quite a bit of rain lately.  Last week it rained from Monday to Friday and we had a general power failure that lasted 22 hours, so all in all it made for an interesting week!  The weekend was gorgeous.  My nephews finished putting up the closet doors (my oldest nephew made our closets), and my Mom and sister and family came over for lunch on Sunday.  Today is another weird day with rain and intermittent sunshine, but that is what Spring/Summer is like and the farmer's are happy so I am happy.

Wishing you all a great day!

Brenda, this is so sweet! I love the pink pom pom flower against kraft, so pretty! I hope the rains slow down soon...at least for a day of sunshine here and there!

The copic coloring of your flower is so pretty!! Love how you used the washi tape to ground the flower in your design!! We sure could use some of the rain you're getting here! Hope you do see some sunshine soon though:)

Hello, Sweet Brenda!

I'll say your mojo has never left you! Your card is fabulous and perfectly designed. What a beautiful flower, and great use of the washi tape. Love the placement of the sweet sentiment. The one rounded corner is the perfect finishing touch. Great minds think alike. I also just recently created with the lovely pink & kraft color combination. Beautifully done!

Hope some of that rain you've been having, heads in our direction. We could sure use some.

WOW, how wonderful that you have nephews that have helped with the house remodeling. Hope it is all going well.

What a blessing, that you are able to have your family over for lunch.

Sending lots of HUGS your way! ♥
Take care, my friend!

Hi Brenda sweetie. This is beautiful card. I say that your Mojo is back full swing. Wow I love the crispness of that sweet flower against the kraft paper. It almost looks like it is chalked instead of inked. I love that washi tape it is so adorable. Sorry I haven't been around much. Just getting back from vacation not that long ago and now started homeschooling again for another year. Things are busy but I am trying to get organized and get back into spending time with my blogging friends again. Take Care love. And yes, rain is good. And I am sure that the produce is yummy. Lol. Hugs.
