Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger

Wow, I have not participated in a challenge for so long that I actually feel nervous!  But challenges do help you when you find yourself doing a lot of staring into space and very little creating!  I decided to try the current Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger challenge.  This is not my best work, that's for sure, I still feel like I am in a slump, but here goes!

I decided to focus on the colours and kept it all very simple really.  Some cardstock from PTI as well as their Harvest Berries stamp, and I dry embossed the blue mat with a Sizzix embossing folder.  I distressed the edges a little and created a banner for the sentiment which is popped up.

I hope that you are all having a great day. Thank you for all your lovely comments.  I am trying to make time to visit your lovely blogs but day to day life is kind of limiting me a little and for some reason I am just too tired in the evenings.  But I'll get there, I promise!

Wow - I get to follow Lisa! Remember - there is no obligation in blogging! We all have dips and swells in our time and energy. I love this trigger (not generally a fan of green, but this my current fav color) and what you have done. Great texture to set the main element off so well. Nice job, Brenda.......take care!

Hey, you sound like me! I have been busy moving moving rooms around and now I'm not sure how to get started again. I like your interpretation of the Trigger, especially the use of the Harvest Berries stamp. Take care, my friend!

Brenda your card has fabulous balance with the greenry flowing vertically and the sentiment crossing at a horizontal level. The depth with the embossed paper is another eye-catching feautre!

Hi Brenda. Love that you posted today and miss seeing your work. First I want to tell you that your not alone in this slump business. I have been there many times and sometimes I stare into space for a long time before anything hits me. Lol. Just know your in good company. I do want to say that your card is very pretty. I love the design and the texture is amazing. If I were you I would add this to the movement challenge at Moxie Fab as well. I love the idea of using such an refined image against a whimiscal background. You did a wonderful job. Can't wait to see what else you create. Big Hugs & Chin up sweetie. It won't be long and you will be singing that "Celine Dion" song from long ago, "It's All Coming Back To Me Now!" Lol. Though I see no need to sing a song like this seeming that your creation is special, just like you. Big Hugs.

Hi Brenda, I love your pretty card. The embossing and the leaves are perfect together. You did a great job. I haven't been doing much lately with my blog and today was the first time in over a month that I actually checked my blog. I haven't forgotten about you. This is been a busy summer and a lot of my time has been spent with my daughters and grandchildren. I am trying to do better. Thanks for the sweet comment that you left on my blog. You take care.
Hugs to You,
sue
