Thinking of You

I have been absent from my blog for a while now and it still looks like it will be a while before I am truly up and running again!  Life is simply hectic at the moment with the final renovations.

So here is a card I had made some time back and had not yet posted.  A very simple design using some lovely designer paper and a bit of ribbon treatment.

We are working towards moving in to our new home this coming Monday.  Unfortunately we had a bit of a setback when the paint we used decided to peel away from the walls, after we had painted the entire inside of the house!  So, we have been scrapping and sanding and repainting!  I am really, really hoping that we can still be ready for Monday.

Other than being constantly tired, always rushing around, no time to get into an exercise routine....all is well.  Natasha has settled down so nicely at school and her teacher is very pleased with her (me too)!

As soon as my life gets back to some normality I will be visiting your blogs more regularly, I promise!  Sending you all lots of hugs.

Hi Brenda, Your card is absolutely gorgeous. It also sounds like you are very busy. Life does that sometimes. I can understand where you are coming from. Good luck with the painting, hope it works for you this time xoxoxoxo

AH, Brenda - wish I could be there to help you! Someday you will look back at this time, when you are creating wonderful memories in your new home, and simply smile. Speaking of smile, that is what this sweet card makes me do - love this beautiful paper and how you have used it. Exquisite! Hang in there and take care of YOU!

Oh Brenda-We had the same thing happen a few years ago when we repainted our kitchen:(. Not long after it was done for some reason the paint literally came off the walls in sheets! I understand your frustration completely! Glad to hear your daughter is doing well in her new school-that's a positive:). I love how you chose to make the pp in your card the "star"- very pretty!

Yikes on the paint peeling! Sounds like a lot of work but I know you can get it done and move into your home. You are going to love it so much once you get settled! Never worry about us in blogland. Family life is so important! Glad to hear everything else is wonderful!!

Thinking about you sweetie and just wanted to pop in and say "Hi" and hoping that everything is going well with you and the move. Miss you, but so understand that life can be so crazy. So happy to hear that the little one is settling in really well. Praying that the paint stayed on the walls the second time around. You poor sweet woman. You must have loads of patience. I would be pulling my hair out I am sure. Just wanted to let you know that your special and missed. Have a great time getting into your new home and we will be all waiting when you get back. Enjoy and relax. Big Hugs.
