Hero Arts Sketch Challenge & African Snow!

I like this month's challenge over at Hero Arts, Clean & Simple, right up my street.  I also used one of their sketches which I think is a really usable sketch.

Paper: notecard (HA); Neenah Solar White; Cosmo Cricket (Mini Deck: Tea for Two)
Ink: HA Cerulean Chalk Ink; Vintage Photo Distress Ink; Cocoa Momento
Stamps: Hero Arts (CL286; CL182)
Other: Washi Tape (Freckled Fawn)

See those little hearts...I covered a piece of white cardstock with some pretty Washi Tape, stamped the hearts and trimmed them out.  The little ticket with the sentiment was created using a scalloped circle punch to make the corner notches.

And now for some pictures of our time in the snow yesterday!  We drove 20 miles up the highway and played in this........

The mountain range in the distance here is Giants Castle, part of the Drakensberg Mountain range!

Yesterday was quite a treat!

Hugs to all!

A clean a simple sketch and the addition of that strip with flourishes is lovely. Fab use of Washi tape too:)
A day in the snow; we hardly had any summer here so far now the weather is finally very summmer-y) and at this very moment I am not in the mood for snow yet...heehee

Love your CAS card with the darling hearts and fabulous sentiment!

P.S. Can you please send some of that beautiful white stuff (that we rarely see) our way? Our weatherman announced we will be getting a COOL front in the next few days. Can you believe it? It will be dropping to 99, 98, and 97 degrees?!! I may need to pull out my coat! HA!

Have a wonderful day!
BIG HUGS!

Wow, Brenda - now that I am back it is great to see your snow pix! Hard to image that you have snow when I just left 110 degree heat. Looks like such fun. I "simply" adore this card - great color combo and I am such a sucker for hearts. This is so delicate and sweet. Hope things are settling in for you - have you in my heart.
