For Someone Special

Today I'll show you the card I made for Maddy's sister Melanie.  You can read the whole story HERE at Simon Says Stamp and if you can, please make a card or two to brighten up this family's day.

The pretty papers are from My Mind's Eye and the butterfly is from The Craft's Meow.  The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.

I paper pieced the butterfly wings for some contrast.

It's another sunny winter day here, the wind is blowing quite a bit though.  The renovations are coming along.  I have to say that I sit here at night and wonder how on earth is all that dust going to actually get out of the house at the end of the day!  It just seems like it must be an impossible task.

We are now busy looking at kitchen designs!  You know, once you start you simply cannot stop until it's all done!

Have a happy Tuesday!

Love your pretty card Brenda. It sounds like you are having a really busy time getting your house ready. Such fun choosing things from scratch. I would love a new kitchen but I think I may have to wait a few years for it!!

what a delightful card Brenda. I'm impressed that with all the work for the house you have time to do any cards.

oh thanks for stopping by my blog .... I can't seem to do simple and I try to because several of my students ask for that but all I want to do is add just a little more ... LOL ... so I usually tell them all I do is present an example and for them to "Make it their own" do what they want to do on the embellishing ... will tell Cindy that we have emailed ... take care and keep creating wonderful things ... I tried to email this to you but no luck couldn't find your email address anywhere .... Linda
