What You Mean To Me

For the longest time I have wanted a stamp with the image of a map on it.  I'm not sure why because it's probably not really my style,  but I had thoughts of using it to create backgrounds.  So, I got one from Stampers Anonymous, a Tim Holtz stamp.

Then whilst I was working through my craft room, tidying up (back in Houston) , I got to thinking about my husband and that led me to make a card, a very simple card.  I found a sentiment in one of my Hero Arts sets that said "You Mean So Much To Me", but felt that it did not express really HOW MUCH Michael means to me and so I scratched part of it out....

After stamping the map in black ink I inked up the entire image with Antique Linen distress ink and the edges with some Vintage Photo.

Like I said, extremely simple, but in my eyes it says what my heart was feeling!

Have an awesome day!

I'll bet Michael loved this, Bren! Your distressing is perfect, and what a neat idea to cross off part of the sentiment and add your own words - so sweet! :)
