Thanks - Word Shadow

I thought that this Thank You card would be appropriate to share today as I have received so many kind comments from so many beautiful and warm hearted people since the BIG move!  Thank you all so much for your support and understanding of what I am feeling having left my wonderful, beautiful friend back in the US!

This is one of those many cards I made at 3h30 in that morning when I just could not go back to sleep.

Paper: red cardstock (PTI); patterned paper (scraps)
Ink: Hero Arts chalk ink
Stamps: Hero Arts (AC005 Untitled Word Shadow & 331065 Lattice Background)
Other: pearl; pop dots; EK Success Postage Edge punch

Life has been a bit of a whirlwind since we arrived on Sunday night.  We needed to finalize cars we had purchased, get Natasha to meet her school teacher, arrange a school start date, buy uniforms, do some running around with regards to our new home etc.... It's all good.

I feel for my poor daughter who was quite ready to get into holiday mode having just finished a year of school.  Unfortunately the school year here runs from January to December.  So, my chickadee will be going to school on Monday in a snazzy school uniform!  I'll post some photos next week.

I went and tried out the gym last night and did a Spinning Class with my sister, I love her, but I miss Lisa,  my gym buddy!  This morning I decided to go it alone and went and did a weight training session on my own!  I perspired, so I guess I worked out, but it felt odd.  Anyway, I thought I would also share a picture of the gym from the outside, and I can already hear Lisa swooning at the view, it is such an improvement from all the concrete in Houston!  And pretty soon I hope to be mountain biking in that forest you see.

I hope to be able to get into a routine from next week onwards and try to finish my Copic Colouring project from the class I took.  Unfortunately we are still waiting for the airfreight to arrive and that is where all my crafty goodness is!

Wishing you all a fabulous day!

Glad that you got right back in the exercise mode, too.....I have learned to not only love it, but rely on it. Never thought that would happen. It all looks and sounds so very good!
