The Play Date Cafe #126

Oops!!! I did not realise that the PDC challenge was closing in 20 minutes!  I thought I still had a day to post!  So this is going to be very short.

I love these colours and here is a card I created using a PTI Year of Flowers set: Lily of the Valley as well as their Chevron set.  I coloured it with copics and fussy cut it until I was perspiring like crazy with nervousness that I was going to cut right through those little stems!

The tab at the top is created using a Tim Holtz/Sizzix die.  The cardstock is PTI except for the grey which I have no idea where it came from, and there is a little bit of Hero Arts designer notecard in there too!  I love how this turned out!

Thank you for looking.  Have a wonderful evening!

Ooooo! LOVE this to pieces, Brenda, especially that neutral, chevron background! It makes your lily of the valley absolutely pop! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at The Play Date Cafe!

Ah, soooo sweet, Brenda! Lily of the Valley is one of my very favorite flowers (& very difficult to grow). Looks amazing with the trendy chevron and these colors - would never put them together, but you made them work like magic! Love the tab, too. Great!

Brenda you crack me up - I was laughing at your comment about fussy cutting! I would have had no idea you were "sweating" seeing these professional results!

Man-o-man B! This one's a real stunner (and I can say that cuz I saw it IRL) It's a knockout! I smell a winner here!! :) Colors are just fantastic and the use of the chevron along with that printed pool paper = YUMMY!! The tab at the top really adds nice interest as well!

Like Lisa already said here this is a stunner. I think that it is beyond pretty. It is jaw dropping gorgeous and to be honest I love your cards but this is now my favorite. This should win something and I sure hope that you do because it deseves big recognition. Just so vibrant and bold. That green makes it stand out and the colour for the flowers makes it so beautiful. Wow. YOur on a roll. Hugs.
