Celebrate!

I have been trying to finish up a card for a little girl's 6th birthday we are going to on Saturday.  And as I am taking a Basic Copic Colouring class with Melissa and Kristy (owner & designer of Some Odd Girl) I  decided to try out my colouring skills on an Odd Girl that was an optional class purchase.

The green cardstock is from PTI, the strip of patterned paper was from Girl's Paperie I think.  I embossed the white matt with the Swiss Dot cuttlebug embossing folder.

The girl, the banners and the sentiment are all from the SOG stamp set.  I stamped and coloured the little banners and after adhering a piece of twine onto the card I then adhered each banner onto the twine.  I also added some glossy accents to the dots on the banners. The little girl is then adhered with pop dots.

I hope the birthday girl enjoys it!

Lisa and I had an awesome day today!  We shopped, succesfully, and we met the ultra sweet Vera Yates for lunch!  It was totally super!  (Why does this always happen just as I am about to leave a country, I get to meet more fabulous people!).

I trust that your day was a good one!  Remember, those loyal followers, there still is a GIVEAWAY on my blog a few posts back!

You don't have any photos of your meet with Vera either? Lisa didn't share any on her blog, so I was hoping you would - maybe Vera will?

Sounds like the three of you had a lovely time! Adorable card, Bren! Love the pinks and greens! :)
