Yes, it was time for two sympathy cards this week. This is one I just made using my Distress Markers which eventually arrived yesterday after 2 months and 21 days!
My primary concern about the markers was whether I believed that they did ink up clear stamps! Phew! Am I glad to report, although this is the only card I have made with them, that they do!
Paper: cardstock (PTI; Penny Black); Neenah
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black; Distress Markers; Antique Linen Distress ink
Stamps: Hero Arts (CL342; CL428); PTI (Label Basics)
Other: Dimensional Foam
I know it's a rather plain looking card but I don't like to make a busy sympathy card, for me, it's all about the message.
I am going to add this to the current Simon Says Stamp Chalelnge "Anything Goes".
As I mentioned Lisa and I met Vera yesterday for lunch. We did take a couple of photos and we got a stranger to take one of the three of us together, but that was a complete failure! (Oh, and don't let the one of Vera and I scare you off, believe me, it scared me). Well, I cannot describe it....I have no idea where I was looking or what happened to my hair or why my face was all scrunched up like a dried grape! (I really do not like photos of myself!). Gosh, I hope I don't normally look like that!
Hugs to all! Have a fabulous weekend!
