Warm Wishes

I made a bit of a dent in my Christmas card list today, thank goodness.  But only because I decided to change tactics.  I am making everything in pairs, 2 cards of every design (which is something  I never do).  So I will share one of them with you today.

Paper: cardstock (PTI); designer paper (MME: 12 Days of Christmas)
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black; Copic Markers; Iced Spruce distress ink; PTI's Aqua Mist dye ink
Stamps: Hero Arts (AR159); PTI (Tiny Tags 1 & 2)
Other: Diamond stickles; Perfect Pearl Mist; Clear Embossing powder; dyed crinkle ribbon; PTI's Tiny Tags die; Dimensional squares

I found an already cut out oval and saw that this cute snowman fitted really nicely into it.  So I stamped and embossed him and then coloured him with some copic markers.  I also used some Iced Spruce to distress a little around the edges. (I am loving that colour!).

After adding a strip of patterned paper to my card I tied some crinkle ribbon and added the tag, and then I adhered the snowman image, which I had spritzed with Perfect Pearls Mist, using some dimensional foam!

I like it, it's kind of cute and I am enjoying using the patterned papers from the "12 Days of Christmas" 6 X 6 paper pad by My Mind's Eye.

Well, we are quite cold here today!  It was 39F when I went for my run this morning.  Although my body stayed warm, my nose, lips and ears did get quite cold!  But I was really enjoying myself, and running in cold weather always makes your times faster which is a real plus!

I hope that you are all having a great day where ever you are!

A great start for the holidays, Brenda. And making 2 is a good idea (I try to make 4!). The color is really nice, especially in contrast with the patterned paper. Love that fun ribbon. Sweet!

Love your adorable card, Brenda! Great colors and patterns. I admire you for not mass-producing your Christmas cards. I just made 20 of the same design tonight and I'm going to make another 20 of another design in the next few days. Otherwise I would never get them done!
