OWH could use all the help they can get for the postage costs of cards that are mailed to our troops every month. For this hop I chose to work with a sweet patriotic snowman image called Snow Thankful by Deedee Anderson.
Paper: card stock (PTI); Neenah
Ink: Copic markers; Memento Tuxedo Black; Hero Arts Soft Pool shadow ink
Stamps: K'n K Designs digital stamp (Snow Thankful by Deedee Anderson)
Other: Cuttlebug embossing folder; MFT Tab die; dimensional adhesive
The snowflake background is faux letterpress which is done by swiping your ink pad across the raised portion of the embossing folder prior to embossing your piece of card stock. It works really well with this soft pool color from Hero Arts.
I then went and pieced my snowman after coloring him with Copics. Not sure if you can see it in the photo, but his hat, scarf and mittens holding the heart flag are all popped up with dimensional tape. I really like how he turned out.
