End of Summer Card Camp & More Botany

Before we get on to today's card, I just have to say, Go Aussies Go!  Wow, what an amazing Time Trial today in the Tour de France which saw Cadel Evans put on the Yellow jersey!  The first Australian ever!  Australia,  you should be so proud today, that guy was an absolute well oiled machine, so cool and calm, even though he had to change his bike on a crucial mountain stage!  Just plain awesomeness, he inspired me today, my 6 mile run in high humidity was absolutely nothing compared to what he had to overcome today!  Fantastic!

Ok, onto crafting! This weekend marks the end of Summer Card Camp!  Wow, what a lot of inspiration received over the last 4 weeks!  Jennifer and Kristina were outstanding, they certainly stretched me, especially in the colour combination department!  And all the guest designers they had every week, so much amazing and talented people!  But there was more, all the participants!!! I tried to visit some of their blogs but there are sooo.....many, it was just impossible.  Luckily we will still be able to access the site after this weekend so hopefully I can make the time to visit more bloggers!  Thank you everyone for all the inspiration I received!

So Friday saw us receiving some additional colour combinations and I chose the first one which was bright pink, rusty orange, golden yellow, blue and bright purple (that's obviously my interpretation of the colour swatches, and I could be wrong because sometimes black looks brown to me etc, etc....)

Once again I decide to take out an older stamp from Darkroom Door called Full Bloom vol:2.  And because it botanical in nature, I am also going to submit this to the Moxie Fab "Fanatical About Botanicals" challenge.

Paper: HA notecard; PTI cardstock; Neenah; DCWV Citrus Matstack
Ink: Memento (Grape Jelly,  Lilac Posies, Tuxedo Black); Hero Hues (Poppy Chalk ink)
Stamps: Hero Arts (Friend Definition CG125); Darkroom Door (Full Bloom Vol. 2)
Other: Gems (Hero Arts); PTI Edgers #2 die; Nestabilitie die; Dimensional squares

I first stamped the notecard with the Friend Definition using Poppy chalk ink and then adhered the blue die cut.  The central image was creating by stamping twice in two different inks and was then mounted using dimensional squares.

I hope you are all having a great day!  I may get some crafting in this afternoon, we'll see.  I have another card to post but I think I will do it later today.  Thank you for visiting!  And thank you to my new followers!  Slowly creeping up to the 100 mark!!!

While I probably would not have chosen to put these colors together, I love how this turned out! So many colors, shapes, and "textures" from the pp and stamps--it's really cool :)

Love how you angled the flowers; they lead right into the sentiment. So pretty!
