I have been wanting to play in the Simon Says Stamp Challenge for quite some time and eventually I got around to it. This weeks' challenge is to create something for Mother's Day or something Girlie. I made a Mother's Day card and if I have more time later this weekend I will try to make something girlie too.
Paper: Hero Arts Notecard; Patterned Paper (from a friend); Neenah Solar White
Ink: Iris Chalk Ink (Hero Arts);Soft Leaf Shadow Ink (Hero Arts)
Stamps: Unity (Frame); Hero Arts (sentiment); PTI (Embellishment set)
Other: Corner Chomper; Gems; PTI Edgers Die #2
I have been wanting to use this Frame stamp since I got it and I thought it would add a nice touch to a Mother's Day card. I am not entirely convinced about this card, but it's feminine and pretty in a way. I love that piec of patterned paper which I received from a special friend, Jacqueline, in the South of France.
Thank you for stopping by today. Sorry for it being such a short post, but I have a few things on the go at the moment, although I will try to craft later today. Have an awesome day!
And thank you to my new followers that continue to trickle through my blog, it's such a nice feeling to wake up in the morning and see that someone decided they liked what I had to offer! Thank You!

This is beautiful, Brenda! I love how you cut and popped that frame. I wouldn't have thought to place the wider section at the top and it looks fabulous that way! Thanks for helping me think out-of-the-box!
a simply sweet mother's day card, brenda! that frame is so pretty!
Indeed it's a beautiful frame, Brenda! Love flourishes bg and the colours!
