Easter Blessings

Wow, it's already Easter!  Time is moving fast.  I attended my first ever Easter Service this morning and am so glad I did.  As a young child I don't think I ever paid attention to the real meaning of it all.  As I have aged life has taken on a different meaning and I am glad that I am understanding things better, finding more meaning.

I also decided to make a sweet Easter card for my lovely daughter who is growing up way too fast.  I know there is nothing I can actually do about it, I also never knew it would feel so bittersweet to let go of a child and welcome in a young girl...gosh, I have a lump in my throat just typing that out.  Ok, so let's get back to the sweet card which was made as a result of one of Jennifer McGuire's technique videos (how can one person be so talented, wow!).

I just liked that Acetate window idea and this Tim Holtz bird is simply too sweet to ignore.  I hope my daughter gets a little giggle out of it.

Wishing you all a very blessed Easter weekend.

Hi Bren! So nice to see you visiting over on my blog! I know what you mean about getting older and realizing the more important things in life. And about kids growing up? It really does go way too fast! You feel so proud and happy they're growing and at the same time you want them to stay little! **SIGH**

Love your adorable card! those crazy birds are so fun, aren't they? Your daughter will love it! Hugs and Happy Easter to you and your family! ♥
