Inspiration is all around us, including on Pinterest! I often go there if I am just stuck as to where to begin with a card. For this card I was inspired by a design from Kelly Latevola. Here is my card:
The background is made with distress inks and a few splashes of water. I then stamped and masked the flowers 3 times (I haven't done masking in absolute ages, it was fun actually). I coloured the floral images (from Penny Black) with my Copics. I then stamped the "happy" and trimmed it out before adhering it onto the card and stamping "birthday" directly beneath it. Then, a la Kathy Racoosin, I used my white gel pen on the petals of the flowers.
That's it, a bit more work than usual but I like the outcome.
Have a fabulous day!
