Stretch Your Stamps 2 - Day 7

This is my 2nd post today as I want to post at least one card per class before the 21st and I am running out of days.

Graphic Stamps

I like this class.  I've never been any good at trying to figure out what to do with any graphic type stamps. I chose to work with Laura Bassen's idea and found the perfect stamp.  This card is pretty much a case of her card in class except for the colours and the actual stamp used.  But it has prompted me to go and look at some other graphic stamps I might have in my stash.

Here is what I made:

www.infinite-possibilities.blogspot.com

Paper: Neenah White Cardstock
Ink: CTMH Dye ink (Hollyhock; Blush; Baby Pink); Versafine Onyx Black
Stamps: Modern Basics (PTI); Keep It Simple Birthday stamp set (PTI)
Other: Brad (Doodlebug Design Inc.); dimensional strips;  clear embossing powder

I wanted to make a birthday card for a little 10 year old girl, it's coming up later this month, so I decided to use this class to motivate me to make it.

I cut out the "wings" at the back of the brad as I just wanted to use the little flower without piercing the card, I am always worried that it will tear. I then filled the back of it with adhesive dots in order to adhere it to the card.  I like how it turned out.  I also heat embossed the sentiment.

Enjoy your day!

It's gorgeous, Bren! I also loved this particular lesson because I struggle with those graphic stamps too. Your card is really pretty - love the different shades of pink!
