The Card Concept Challenge #1

The Card Concept blog is a new card challenge site.  They announced their first challenge last week, which I found out via some blog friends.  I like the colours they chose for this challenge, so decided to give it a try.

These are the colours :

And here is my take:

A very simple, small card using a Spellbinders die and some designer papers I had at hand.  We were asked to say what "style" category we believed our card fitted into  (they have some styles defined HERE on their blog).  I figured mine still fits into the Clean & Simple, versus the Clean and Layered, but I could be wrong.  Either way, that's my card.

The challenge ends on Monday 20th January, so you still have plenty time to play.

Enjoy your day!

Love your card :) Just wanted you to know that I was in Michael's the other day and saw a beginner's book for Zentangle - I would never have paid attention to it except for remembering your beautiful work.

Don't you just hate cataloging your creativity?! I looked at the definitions and was a little overwhelmed. Whatever it is - I like it! Dots are such fun and hearts are a favorite element of mine - love the bold and graphic look. All good, Brenda!

A really gorgeous card Brenda.. Great CAS even though it's often hard to categorise exactly the style.

The shape of your card and the way you used the colors is beautiful. Did you know that CAS also means Chic And Stunning. Simple but very elegant with a modern twist.. Lovely!
