Peace, Love, Joy

Just sharing one of the many Christmas cards I've made recently a Christmas Market that's coming up.  I'm going to add it to the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge which is "Anything Goes".

I again pulled out an embossing folder and inked up the depressed side with some Pumice Stone distress ink before running it through the Big Shot.  I then distressed the edges a little before mating it on some PTI cardstock and PTI patterned paper.  I also added a little bit of Antique Linen distress ink over the embossed image for a more vintage feel.

I added a few gems, some twine from The Twinery and a little tag from PTI.  Not my usual style but I wanted to use that PTI patterned paper, it's just so pretty.

So, how is your Sunday?  Mine was wonderful and we got some beautiful blue skies as well.

Beautiful - I have not used this technique in a while and I can see I need to do it again!

I will have to try that technique with the ink and the folder again- every time I tried it was a total disaster! Love the subtle colors and the pretty pop of red :)
Beauty day here today- about time! We have had SO MUCH rain lately!

Hi Brenda, sorry I haven't been by in a while...things have been crazy busy! I had to say hi, thanks for your sweet comments at my blog, AND to tell you I love this cards!!! I still have not mastered the inking inside an embossing folder like you have...mine always come out spotty and blotchy! This is just beautiful...a wonderful card! Enjoy your Sunday!
