I am so tired of looking at all the scrap pieces of paper lying in my scrap basket, so I made a very quick card this evening with a piece I saw lying there.
Paper: cardstock (PTI); patterned paper (scrap basket)
Ink: Versafine; Brushed Corduroy distress ink
Stamps: SSS "Life Is A Journey"
I have been tangling quite a bit, that's why my cards have been scarce, but not forgotten. In fact, I have just signed up for the new Online Card Class with Jennifer McGuire and others which runs over 3 days from the 25th of September, it's called "Insider" and you can find all the details HERE.
Here is a tangled tile that I really like. I had read that often people struggle to just come up with the "string" to draw on your tile. So one of the suggestions is that you lightly pencil in your initials and let that be your "string". Awesome idea! So I penciled in BU and the beauty of it all is that it does not matter if eventually your "string" is lost in the design. Here is my attempt, the B is still very visible, but perhaps I am the only one who knows where the U is!
I also flicked a bit of Glimmer Mist on my tile just because I liked the idea of a little colour!

Love your "clean up" card - very vintage looking and classy! Good girl on the tangling. I have looked, but haven't found, my notes and samples of a class I took where we did this inside stamped images (like apples, pears, etc.) for unique cards. If I find it, I'll let you know. Thanks, Brenda!
