Bird on a Box

I found this little tutorial on Pinterest  (here is the LINK)and pinned it to my board, and then made it the next day.  I love this little box and seeing as I had just purchased my Envelope Punch Board it was very easy and quick to put it together.

It holds four 4" X 4" cards and envelopes.

I had a set of Echo Park paper called "Little Girl" from a couple of years back.  It's such pretty paper, and stupidly, I was hoarding it!  Why I ask?  Why do we not want to cut up our pretty papers?  Seriously makes no sense and yet I am so guilty.  But, I cut it all up.  I even cut up large pieces to make the matching envelopes!  I did take a deep breath when I did that, thinking, why, just use white cardstock, why cut up this pretty paper for an envelope.  But it looks so pretty all matchy-matchy.  I could not seem to get a good photo of the whole ensemble, but here it is (I still need to add a white sticker label to the front of the envelopes for the recipient to add a name to):

No stamping on the cards, the paper pack had a whole sheet of pretty stickers and that's what I used to make the cards.  The only stamping is the cute little Hero Arts bird which is popped up and coloured with Copics on the front of the box.  The box closes with a tiny little self-adhesive flat magnet from Basic Grey.

Have an awesome day!  (At last it is finally raining here, thank goodness, it was starting to look really dreadful and dry).

super cute Brenda... but I've just spent the last half hour watching video links that I've found since going through to the link you had! What fun. I hadn't even realised I could make a box with the envelope punch but it's soooo easy, Thanks for showing yours and getting me enthused.
