Knowing When to Stop

I like the card I made tonight, but it may also be a case of "not knowing" when to stop.  You'll have to be the judge of that.

I thought I would enter my card into the current Hero Arts Contest, the details of which you can find HERE.  I drew my inspiration mainly from the colours used by Vicky Boutin when she posted her Layout and card on the HA blog HERE.  The pink and pale blue really looked like a beautiful combination so I decided to incorporate them into my card.

Paper: cardstock (PTI); designer paper: MME (Everyday Flair)
Ink: Versafine; Wild Honey Distress ink; HA Bubblegum mid-tone ink; HA Soft Pool
Stamps: Hero Arts (Stamp Your Story: My Favorite & Remember; Exotic Bloom); PTI (Tiny Tags)
Other: PTI Tiny Tags die; Waxy flax; Corner rounder

I adore that butterfly and simply could not resist creating a background with it.  And then from there it just got busier and busier.  I tried to stop myself, I promise, and I eventually stopped at the pearl!

It's 11 pm here so I think I'll go and read before closing my weary eyelids.  Wishing you an awesome day!
