I have long admired Jennifer McGuire's clean style and her eye for colour and her obvious ability to come up with technique after technique after technique.... Jennifer just recently posted a video on how she created two cards from her "Die Cut Inlay" technique, you can find it HERE. I have to tell you that it was the colours which captured my eye first and then I looked at the technique.
As for me, I do not have her sense of vibrant colours, so I simply went looking around for some scraps of paper on my desk and made my card. I also only had one set of dies where the one die can fit neatly inside the other, so my choice of design was a tad limited. Nevertheless, I still like how it turned out.
Paper: cardstock (PTI); other - scraps
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black
Stamps: PTI (Boutique Borders: Birthday Stamp Set); Hero Arts (Lattice Background)
Other: die (PTI)
You can really see the "inlaid" pieces in real life and that is what makes it more special I think. It's a double inlay, the white outer part of the flower as well as the inner patterned part.
Now I have the two opposite pieces that I can go and make a card with, which is what I am off to do now.
Have a fabulous day!

This is amazing, Brenda! Love how this turned out. Also, love that you can basically get 2 for 1 when you use the the leftovers :) Great job! I am a fan of Jennifer McGuire also :)
Ah....I saw what Jennifer did and was anxious to try it. So glad you got to it first and worked out the "bugs". Love the look and that you gave it a try. Nice, Brenda!
