I have admired the "Big Post Card" Hero Arts stamp for some time now and gave it some serious thought before eventually purchasing it. It's a beauty of a stamp, so big! Here is my first attempt at making something with it. I'll add this to the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge which is "Anything Goes", my 4th card for that challenge, who knows......
Paper: cardstock (Neenah)
Ink: Versafine: Distress Inks (Worn Lipstick & Dried Marigold); Faber Castel marker; Uniball White gel pen; PTI white Pigment ink
Stamps: Hero Arts (Big Post Card; Exotic Bloom: Antique Engravings
Earth Flowers); sentiment (Lawn Fawn)
Other: Stickles
Love the result of the blending of those two distress inks, such a nice summery sunset sort of shade. As you can see I used the white gel pen to add some highlights to the black silhouette stamped flowers.
Started my day with a great 12km run with some friends, that should set me up for the rest of the day! Hope yours gets off to a good start too.
