A Smooch of a Scrappling

My goal this month is to try and blog every day of August (one month at a time)..let's see how it goes.  I need goals, I don't like wondering around aimlessly in life and that includes my crafty life too.

So, I had some scraps left over on  my desk from my birthday card escapade last night and just decided to make a scrappling.

Paper: cardstock (Neenah); designer paper: MME (Everyday Flair)
Ink: Memento; Copics
Stamps: Paper Smooches (Chubby Chums)
Other: Scalloped punch (Stampin' Up); Corner Rounder

I was taken in by the pretty colours in the designer paper and then went on from there.  I may turn this into a magnetic bookmark if I can find my little magnets before tomorrow morning.  And I think I'll enter this into the Simon Says Stamp Challenge which is "Anything Goes".

A friend of Natasha's came over for a playdate after school today.  I made them some Cake Pops which they duly decorated and then they put them in a dish and took them outside into the tree they were playing in.  The next minute I hear them screaming "Monkeys!!!!" and they dashed into the house as they were being "chased" so they say!  Unfortunately, when they saw the monkeys they threw a Cake Pop at them in an attempt to chase them off....not the wisest thing to do....so the whole troop of monkeys came running to get the rest from them!  Poor things, they were shaking just a little!

Wishing you a monkey free day!

What an adorable bookmark!! I love it!

To blog every day for a month would be a very lofty, if not impossible, goal for me, Brenda. Good luck with this adventure - I will look forward to seeing what you share with us.

I think I would probably have dropped the whole dish if monkeys were after me!! LOL
