Seize The Birthday Sketch #9 Feminine

It's time for another Seize The Birthday sketch challenge and this time the team is asking for a feminine card.

I decided to play with some patterned papers and here is the card I made:

Paper: cardstock (PTI); designer paper ( MME: Happy Go Lucky); Neenah
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black; Copic markers
Stamps: Purple Onion Designs; PTI (sentiment)
Other: dimensional foam; Spellbinders Label 18 die; MFT Grass die

It was fun playing with patterned papers again, I have plenty but don't use it often in such big pieces like a background.  I enjoyed paper piecing the flower from POD.

I  was happy I thought of the grass die or otherwise I would have been stumped for the sentiment, again.  I created an edge around teh Spellbinders die by firt embossing it with a stylus and then carefully going around that edge with a Copic marker.

We can definitely feel the weather changing, thank goodness as we had some really hot days.  I love it when you can just feel a touch of coolness in the air but the sun continues to shine!

I hope you are all having a wonderful day!

Kudos to you for using your PP (I need to do the same)! I love how you created the frame for the flower. And so creative of you to use the grass die for the sentiment! We're warming up over here; I don't want it to get hot yet though - there's too much of that during the summer/fall.

The sentiment strip is so cute done up on the grass!
Weather here was really nice- by the time you arrive it should be good and warm (hot)! XX

You used the paper so beautifully, Brenda. This has almost a quilt-like quality that I love. Sweet grass die - good solution! I love the warm days!
