CAS(E) This Sketch #17

I decided to play with the current CAS(e) this Sketch challenge.  I sat in my craft room for what felt like FOREVER last night and just felt stumped, totally unsure as to where to start and with what!  I even thought to myself maybe my time is up as a card maker, maybe I just don't have what it takes anymore!

Then I went on the "google" search for anything to inspire me, a colour challenge, a sketch challenge, just anything!  Thank goodness for challenges, they really are a great place for a kickstart when you need one.  So I picked a few that appealed to me and made 3 cards.  And today I'll share my CAS(e) this Sketch card.

Paper: Neenah White; PTI cardstock
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black
Stamps: Jane's Doodle "Big Sentiments"
Other: PTI die; Washi Tape (Freckled Fawn)

I used left overs from previous projects that were lying around on my desk.  It comes a point when those leftovers start really irritating me and I just cannot bring myself to throw them away and just HAVE to use them, and so I did, the flower and those little circles which are the centers for those die cut flowers for example.

The I was going to round two corners on the card but alas, when I when to get my corner chomper out of the drawer I was really peeved!  I must have got it jammed when I last put it away and one of those side wings had snapped off!  (So happy that I am coming to the States next month...I can shop for crafty stuff...).

Off to spend time with my chickadee and my Mom who is visiting today.  Wishing you a fabulous end to the weekend!
