C & S Day 9 - More Techniques

Another fun day in the classroom yesterday (I'm a day behind).  I really loved all the glitter that Julie used, but I wanted to stay glitter free so I went with Jennifer's folding technique simply because fancy folds are something I  NEVER do!

It's a quick post today, I want to just sit for a bit as I have been standing all day  with my sister and her crafty friends who came over for a crafty day, and now I need to put my legs up and rest them for tomorrow's race (it's old age)!  Oh, and I need to make a card for Day 10, the final day!

So here is my card for Day 9:

Paper: cardstock (PTI)
Ink: Ripe Persimon Distress Ink: Versamark
Stamps: Hero Arts (Untitled Word Shadow)
Other: die (PTI)

Jennifer shared an accordion fold technique for this card.  I think I may try it with some patterned paper next time.  I like how it turned out even though I am not one for bulky cards but it was a really fun technique to learn, so thank you Jennifer!  I stamped the HA stamp on a piece of designer paper that was the exact same colour as the blue cardstock with some Versamark and heat embossed it.  I then went over it with some Ripe Persimon distress ink, I like the effect.

Ok, off I go to watch Class No.10 and maybe get something made before the end of the evening as I need to wake up at 2h30am in order to leave for the race at 3h30am!

Have a fabulous weekend!

Just lovely Brenda. I'm not sure what technique I'll try from this day. Your folding is great.

Wow - you made a home-run with the color combo and the folds are such fun. You must be at the head of the class, Brenda. Love this.
