C & S DAY 7: Big or Small Stamps

It would be true to say that this was a challenge, even though I have no idea as to why!  For the first time since I have begun stamping I actually had to discard two attempts at making a card!  And that is tough for me, I was brought up not to "waste", hence my hang up about finishing everything on my plate at meal times!  (Off topic, sorry...)

Anyhow, I made something, with a tiny little 3 leaf stamp from a PTI set:

Paper: cardstock (PTI)
Ink: Memento Teal Zeal; Versafine Onyx Black
Stamps: PTI (Merry Little Christmas; Simple Sentiments)

Very simple design as you can see, drew the top line, stamp the sentiment below it.  Drew the bottom line and then went on to stamp that itty bitty stamp 24 times!  Ok, if I can do this, you can do way better....I'm just laughing at myself for taking so long to come up with something.

Just sharing a peek into some Art Journaling work that I am busy with.  This is the first ever "person image" that I have ever drawn and I am so thrilled!   I'm loving this art journaling course, just learning so much.

This is how the sketch started, baby steps...

And here is a peek into the final result!

Have a wonderful day!

The simplest card is the most difficult card to make, Brenda! You did a great job on this!

OMG, Brenda - I had no idea that you were such a multi-talented artist! This drawing is amazing - so much fluidity of movement and your proportions are spot on. Good for you, dear gal. And your card is sweet - glad the class is making you stretch (but not waste - there are no mistakes in crafting). Keep up the wonderful work!

I don't know if I would be patient enough to stamp that little image that many times!!! I do like this design and can see where all those little stamps we all tend to neglect can be put to good use! I cannot overstate how much I love your little peeks of your art journaling! Fantastic!
