C & S Day 4: Plainly White

We are on to Day 4 and I am a day late as I just had too much going on yesterday.  On Day 4 we explored the use of White Space which is not necessarily white.  Julie also showed us a nice technique with Memento Inks and a water brush (I tried it and failed dismally - will need to try it again sometime).  So I decided to go with a very CAS Maille Belles type of style (I think):

Paper: cardstock (Hero Arts); Neenah
Ink: Memento (Grape Jelly & Pear Tart & Tuxedo Black)
Stamps: PTI (Asian Fusion)
Other: White Enamel accent; Glitter

I had to get the colour wheel out for this one.  I wanted to use that mauve coloured notecard but could not for the life of me think of what colour would actually go with it!  Seriously, I just went blank, so thank you to the inventor of the Colour Wheel!

Anyway, as you can see a very plain card here today. I enjoyed adding the two strips of glitter though, (i.e. glitter burnished into two strips of double sided tape).

Ok, off to take my daughter to a birthday party and then hopefully this afternoon I can get onto Day 5 and also catch up on some blogs and make some much needed birthday cards!

Wishing you all a fabulous day!

Not plain at all Brenda! Your card has a clean modern look to it and your green vase pops on the mauve background. Love the glittery shelf you've set it on too ;)
