Very Special

That's the name of the stamp set I am using in todays' card and it comes from the Simon Says Stamp January Card Kit.

Paper: Teresa Collins (Everyday Moments)
Ink: Archival Jet Black; Adirondack Denim; Scattered Straw Distress ink
Stamps: Very Special (SSS)

Don't you love those cute little button stamps and I really like that sentiment.

It's a really quick post today as I am immersed in researching our trip to the USA in March.  I think I have the route planned out (San Francisco to San Diego and then New Orleans and of course Houston!).  But now I need to figure out where to stay and it's a challenge when you don't actually know the areas!  And time is probably against us what with it being Spring Break etc....  just a slight touch of panic! So off I go!

Oh just quickly before I go, I hope you are hopping along with the current Hero Arts Blog Hop, I am seeing some amazing stuff and am Pinning away!  These ladies are really awesome and are showcasing some fabulous stamps from HA, really worth looking at!

Have fun!

Hi Brenda, I love this card today. It would be perfect for that special guy in your life. Lately I'm seeing so many manly cards that are well made. Yours is right up there with the best of them. I wish you all the best with getting your trip sorted. I'm sure it will work out. Maybe the HA flickr group will help out

Oh I love the colors & patterns on your card, Brenda! And yes, I love the little buttons. They would take up way less space than the real ones that I'm hoarding.

Ooh, please let me know when you are coming to Houston! I would love to try to see you while you are there. For San Francisco, I would recommend the Nob Hill area. Easy access to the trolley and you are close to all the tourist attractions so you wouldn't have to drive.

Great card, Brenda! I can tell you if you go down from San Francisco to San Diego, make sure you take the scenic route. Big Sur is amazing. When will you be in Houston? Can we all meet?
