C & S DAY 1

The Clean & Simple Card Class 2 began yesterday!  It was jam packed with video tutorials and lots of tips for keeping your cards clean and simple.  Everything revolved around craftsmanship and impeccable execution. We were also given 4 sketches to play with which I find very helpful.

So this morning I asked hubby to pick a sketch and I made the card.

Paper: cardstock (PTI: white & Soft sStone)
Ink: Tumbled Glass & Crushed Olive distress ink; Versafine Onyx Black; Versamark; Soft Granite Shadow ink (HA)
Stamps: Hero Arts (Dictionary Greetings; Envelope Liner Background); WPlus9 (Mendhi Medallions)
Other: circle punch; clear embossing powder

I combined the masking shared by Jennifer with the sketch that Kristina offered, although  I did flip the sketch around.  I love the combination of those two distress inks, I never realised how beautiful that Crushed Olive was!

It was an awesome start to the class, I have to say!

Thank you for visiting!
