Thanks

Thank you for all the lovely and caring comments you have all been leaving me, it warms my heart to know that people I have never met before can actually be my friends!  I was feeling happy and decided to go a bit bright with my card:

The designer paper is from Simple Stories.  The sentiment and the Pom Pom flower are from Hero Arts.  I added some white dots on the petals for fun,  The centre is a small piece of felt that I die cut with an MFT die.

Thanks for all your concerns regarding the monkeys!  I obtained 4 pieces of information when googling what to do about these specific fellows:

1) Keep your windows and doors shut (right, try that in summer when you have no air-conditioning!)
2) Put away the fruit. (Ok, easy enough.  Oh dear, we have fruit trees!)
3) Let a man handle the monkeys, apparently they (the monkeys) respond better! (Ok, I can only abide by that rule every other two weeks, oops!)
4) Spray them with water to chase them away. Sounds easy enough, but I wonder how long the hosepipe needs to be in order to chase them around the whole garden???

This is going to be fun, fun, fun   :))

One more sleep and my brother will be here!

Lovely bright pretty colors! Love the card Brenda. We too have monkeys around and we have found that letting off a few fire crackers chases them away for awhile, but too many bangs upset the dogs... Can't win! Enjoy your brother and family.

Oh dear, it sounds like you are going to have your hands full keeping the monkeys at bay! Good luck with that. Your card is so wonderful. I love all the little extras you have added to the card. Enjoy your time with your brother & his family. Merry Christmas

Loving this bright and cheery card, Brenda - the perfect paper, too. Don't be too brave with those nasty critters - glad the men will be joining you soon!
