Vintage Christmas Tags

I had a sheet of Graphic 45 designer paper that has all these vintage Christmas images on them.  I remember buying it simply because I loved the pictures, knowing all too well that I DO NOT DO vintage!  Can you relate?!

But, I am proud of myself for actually stepping out of my comfort zone, (most likely not for long), and making some Christmas tag cards with them.

I first covered the tags with some lovely MME paper that my best friend Lisa so kindly shared with me!  (Thanks Lisa).  I then cut out and adhered the Graphic45 images I wanted.  I also applied some Antique Linen stickles around the border of each image.  That little ticket which is popped up is made up using a Purple Onion Design stamp set.  The ticket is stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa ink and the Dec 25 is heat embossed with Festive Berries distress ink from Ranger.

The little music strip is made with a PTI background stamp in Rich Cocoa, the top edge is hand torn and then distressed with Vintage Photo Distress ink.

I added some lace from my stash, a glittery star which I got from Michelle Bala some time ago, some red ribbon, jingle bells and silver cord.

Here is one of the tags on its own.

I hope you like them.

Well, it's been raining, Seattle kind of rain, every day this week, and I know that rain is good, but I am an emotional kinda girl and it really affects my brainwaves to not see the sun!

Hubby gets home tomorrow night, so, so happy I am!

Wishing you all a wonderful day!

They worked beautifully with the vintage theme!
Hope it clears up and you can get some sunshine soon!! It will be better once Michael is home- rain or shine :)

what a beautiful set of tags, brenda! i think you do vintage very nicely! i have to laugh at your description of your weather because here in the seattle/tacoma area we have not had ANY rain in over 60 days! it has been blue skies and sunshine... but the rain is supposed to return this weekend.

Brenda...Brenda...Brenda...I LOVE these "vintage"-looking tags! (Of course, you knew I would love them. Right!?) The images are SO sweet, the "Dec 25" stamped in red is perfect, the music strip, the lovely lace, and the glittery stars are all FABULOUS! AND, OH MY, the bells and red ribbon are the PERFECT finishing touches. I wish I could have been there with you when you created these BEAUTIES, and I wish I could have heard your squeal after you created them and sat back and admired them! They are simply GORGEOUS, my friend!

Sending you BIG HUGS! ♥
