CAS(E) This Sketch #3

I thought I'd play in the 3rd CAS(E) this Sketch challenge, it's been fun, pity I missed the first one.

For this one I used a beautiful Penny Black stamp called "Delicate Florals".  And it is just that, delicate!

Paper: cardstock (PTI - Soft Stone & Kraft); Neenah
Ink: Distress Markers; Gray Flannel ink by Memento; Iced Spruce Distress Ink
Stamps: Penny Black; The Craft's Meow (sentiment)
Other: Circle punch

I inked up the stamp using Distress Markers and after stamping the image onto Kraft cardstock I then used the white Distress Marker to add those white marks in the centre of the flowers.  The "spotlighted" section is stamped on Neenah cardstock using Memento - Gray Flannel ink.  I then "re-planted" the punched out almost-circle into the kraft cardstock versus stamping directly on the notecard.

I just had to add that strip of white on the one side, I know it's not in the sketch, but it felt right to me.

Thanks for popping by and always leaving me such nice comments!  You are great!

Brenda, this is such a beautiful take on that sketch! I love the way you used it to spotlight a portion of that pretty stamp! Brilliant leaving it uncolored! Good luck in the challenge!

Brenda, that PB stamp is FABULOUS on kraft with the added white highlights. Love how you spotlighted part of the stamping & left it uncolored. And the white strip makes the kraft and colors pop. Great take on the sketch. This GORGEOUS card is surely a winner.

Hugs!
