It's Been a While!

Oh boy do I feel lost and like a total beginner!  But sometimes  I guess change does that to you.  For some reason it has been much, much harder this time.

I want to say a real, heart warming thank you to those of you who have continued to send me little messages with big meanings and loads of love, thank you, only I know how much I needed your words, they have meant the world to me.

I won't harp on about how I miss my dearest friend Lisa and my in-laws, because if I do there will be a flood and I won't be able to put up this post that has taken me FOREVER to come up with!  But on a good note, my hubby gets to spend time with Lisa and her hubby next weekend as he will be in Houston for business!  (Truthfully, I wish I could go with!)

Ok, a little card for a birthday party Natasha is going to in  a week's time.

A sweet little MFT girl that I paper pieced and popped up here and there.  The sentiment is from WPlus9.  The little pink flowers were part of a gift that Trinh sent me as a surprise!  (Tx Trinh!).

I really, really hope that the mojo returns.  My craft room is still a shambles.  Other than a closet into which I have basically piled all my supplies with no thought to order, I am using a folding table and will be spending some time designing what I really would like to have to make it more practical.  I also need to create a computer nook in my craft space as we decided not to have a study in this home.

I'll leave you with photos of some flowers I saw along my running route the other day, but please forgive me, I have NO CLUE as to what they are as I am not a gardener.  Once we are properly unpacked I'll try to figure out their names from a book I know I have!  In the meantime just enjoy the colours (Barb, Lin - this is especially for you):

Missing you all!  Hugs!

a totally adorable little card Brenda. Glad you are in your new house and time will mean that all things will fall into place. I'm sure that once you get the room set up and all the supplies sorted your Mojo will be back in buckets. Take care and don't stress.

Hi Brenda, so good to see you on your blog again. The move has really affected your crafting but I am sure you will be back with a vengeance soon. My school holiday and trip to Nice has also affected my crafting, but I am slowly getting back into the swing of it.

Its funny how a break can really halt the creative flow. Have a great weekend.

Hi there, Brenda! I was just telling Lisa yesterday that I was thinking about you and wondering how you're doing - good to hear from you! I love that sweet card, and love the flower photos even more! Gorgeous pinks! Looks like azaleas to me - the last photo - maybe an azalea tree? Glad you shared them!

Sending lots of love and hugs!

It sure has been awhile - I've missed your posts! Don't fret; it takes time to set up a new space; may as well do it right the first time! Loved your sweet PI girl, and thanks for the flower pics! I'll guess that the first 2 are what I call azaleas....they are a staple here in the midwest and down through the south (if you've ever watched that golf tournament in GA, they are usually blooming everywhere in lots of colors all over the golf course).) The paler pink looks like the same, only a frillier version? What do you think, Barb?
Sending hugs, Brenda!

Sweet, Brenda! Your posts are always SO "Brenda": heartwarming, tug-at-the-heart thoughts & words! Thank you for sharing from your ♥heart♥. (I think I need some tissue right about now.)

OH, how sweet that part of you will be visiting Lisa and her husband. I'm sure Lisa will LOVE this, and she'll be wanting to fly back with your husband. :-)

Your card is simply ADORABLE! Love the sweet MFT girl and her darling dress. Love the design and the dimension.

How FUN, that you are putting lots of thought into designing your craft room. (Have you seen the pictures of Susan's craft room? In my opinion, that is one of the best-designed craft rooms I've ever seen!) ENJOY!

OH MY, what BEAUTIFUL flowers you get to admire on your running route! The COLORS are gorgeous!

Take care!
Sending you LOTS of HUGS your way! ♥

I've missed your posts Brenda!! Don't fret about your mojo!! Take your time getting your new space set up and just enjoy the process of creating:). The birthday card you made is simply adorable!! The flower pics are gorgeous! Here in the US (northeast) summer's flowers have just about had it and the leaves on the trees are beginning to change color.

Brenda running by beautiful blooms like these will infuse you creative spirit. Enjoy sorting through your craft things as you unpack and the fun of setting up your craft space just the way you want.

In all honesty, I don't think your mojo left as this card today is adorable!

Take it one step at a time, dear girl! What lovely flowers - great eye candy for that run. You are so lucky (in so many ways!). You will look back and laugh someday about the adorable creations (this sweet girl is just dear) you made on that card table. Can't wait for you to feel more settled, but it will be worth it. Hand in there, dear pal!
