We were invited by a Mom from Natasha's class to spend a day at their beach house a few days ago, just 1hr40min away on the Natal north coast. The area is called Zinkwazi. It is breathtakingly beautiful there and we got to relax amongst a nice group of people for the first time since being here.
Of course, I came "home" wanting to make her a Thank You card and it has taken me 3 days to eventually come up with something. I based it on the colors in this months' Hero Arts Contest, pink, yellow and orange (I think they were supposed to be neon bright).
It's one of those cards that I am staring at and not quite sure of, but I had to start somewhere as I am still struggling to find my "groove" so to speak - it's really no good being away from your hobby for so long.
Paper: cardstock (Penny Black); Neenah Solar White
Ink: Copic Markers (yellow); Ripe Persimmon and Worn Lipstick distress ink
Stamps: Hero Arts (Envelope Pattern - S5507; Antique Engravings - CL383)
Other: MFT Alphabet die; glass gems; clear embossing powder
I thought I would also leave you with a photo or two of Zinkwazi!
Wishing you all a wonderful day.
