Yippee! I Made a Card!

Finally!  The airfreight arrived, that means all my crafting goodies are here.  I unpacked a few items and brought them to the flat we are staying in and left the rest at the empty house, locked in a cupboard.  And seeing as Natasha has been invited to her first birthday party today that was the perfect reason to motivate myself to make a card last night!

I decided to continue practicing my Copic coloring now that the class is over:

Paper: card stock (PTI), designer paper (Simple Stories - Fabulous)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Copic Markers; Memento - Cocoa
Stamps: SOG - Baker Mae
Other: glossy accents; dimensional adhesive; scalloped oval Nestabilitie

It's a cool morning with bright blue skies and sunshine.  It's also Natasha's last day of school for term 2 and then she gets to enjoy 3 weeks of holidays and I get to stop rushing around!  I have literally felt like a chicken without it's head on, running up and down the same streets one way and then the other way (Pietermaritzburg is VERY small), trying to select paint, buy electrical appliances AGAIN, sort out water and electricity, check on the guys that are putting up our fence (VERY, VERY SLOWLY)...it's all good.  And Michael gets home tomorrow night for a glorious 11 days with us!

I WILL find time to go past your blogs and comment, quite frankly I need your inspiration to get me going with my crafting.

Wishing you all a wonderful day and thank you for the continued visits to my blog and al the love and kindness that you leave me!

OH MY, Brenda! This is absolutely adorable and super-sweet! Look at that Copic coloring...it's simply delicious! Love the darling image with the prettiest eyes, holding that delicious-looking cupcake! WOW...WOW...it's gorgeous! The shape is perfect! Natasha's friend will ADORE it!

I do believe you could now teach a Copic Coloring class for all your friends wanting to take a craft class from you. I'll say you've mastered the skill.

So glad to hear your freight has finally arrived...and how FUN that you are now able to craft...and make up for all that lost time without your craft supplies. I'm looking forward to seeing all that you'll be creating!

You'll be in your new home before you know it. Hope it all progresses smoothly and quickly.

Happy crafting!
BIG HUGS to you, my friend!

I have so been thinking of you, Brenda - as you settle in. Little did I know that there was no "settling", just jumping around. I thought maybe you were moving back into your previous home, but now I get it - lots to decide and settle. So happy to hear that Natasha has a party - and this card is so adorable (you must have unpacked your mojo, too!) and that you will have some family time soon. Hugs!
